Tough Day

For the past 3 weeks the fish have been difficult to find, fishing for 2 hours without a result is, a little frustrating.
After all it is called ‘Fishing not Catching’. Eventually we came ona weak mark on the fishfinder and started to drift. Using 6/0 ferthers, muppets & eels things started to happen as we drifted over the mark. We had a flurry of activity and then nothing ! Off again to search for another mark, this proved to be a long search at least 1 hour. We eventually came across a shoal of Coalfish and things livened up and revived the spirits.
Our last move brought us on another mark and after about 5 minutes drifting we hit on good Pollack (3kgs) and Cod.
We also had 3 Mackarel, the first of the year. Forecast is good for Easter so I’ll report after the Weekend.
Rory.
